This involved knocking down a wall, installing a vent over our stove, moving all of our major appliances, installing several lights, and shifting our existing kitchen island over a few inches, which ultimately meant installing a few slats of new hardwood flooring. “WISA solutions was a fine company to work with but they will not schedule permits and inspections for the county. Moreover they don't necessarily follow electrical code when redoing bathrooms. Keep an eye out if an older bathroom has shared wiring that if they add a new element (a light in the shower) or extend an outlet, it requires new circuitry for the entire bathroom, 20A and separate for outlets and lighting.”

“We have owned our home for over 30 years, and I've never worked with a better firm than WISA. The owner, Daoud, is a fine person and is dedicated to delivering quality work and excellent customer service. He has a very talented team, who are professional and wonderful to work with. When he bid the job, he arrived with a project manager and designer, who problem solved options and costs as I told them what we wanted. The designer is very talented and worked with us through the project . When the pandemic came, and we wanted to postpone starting, we had no pressure at all to start until we were comfortable -- which ended up being a year later. Daoud held to the original estimate, which he didn't have to, even though the cost of wood had skyrocketed. The workers were excellent, on time every day, polite and cleaned up, leaving things organized. We made additional requests as the project progressed (new sump pump, additional electrical updating, more cabinets for example) and they gave us estimates for each, followed by a change order we would agree to. Communication was excellent throughout. WISA is priced very fairly, but they weren't the cheapest. We had made the mistake before going with the cheapest bid. This time we wanted excellence and no headaches -- and we got it!. Topnotch people in every way.”

This review is long overdue, but 8 months later, I can honestly say that it was one of the best investments we have ever made. We absolutely love the new functionality of our home. We rate WISA 5/5 stars. From the preliminary consult when Daoud (owner) and Maisa (designer) first met us at our home to go over our vision, we were quite impressed with their ability to anticipate and interpret our needs. Daoud and Maisa partnered closely with us to develop a fabulous design and layout. We loved the thorough process at their showroom for selecting everything from the cabinetry style/color, quartz countertops/backsplash, flooring, sinks, knobs, custom book cases, patio door, fireplace, recessed lighting, ceiling speakers...everything! The entire process could have been overwhelming but Daoud immediately gained our trust and respect given his knowledgeable and turnkey approach. We also appreciated WISA’s simple pricing model. WISA always met up to our expectations without increasing the cost. Additionally, the crew members, especially Juan, did a very good job on the installations and were committed to our satisfaction. The construction crew was very clean, on-time and precise. Communications with the staff and crew, very important to us, was always very good. They ensured the work area was sealed to keep dust and debris out of our living areas and cleaned up the construction area before leaving every day so that we could go into the kitchen and main floor at night and during the weekends. Our only regret is that we did not do the renovation sooner!”
