“The overall work was completed professionally as far as my neighbors and I can tell. The crew arrived on time, were very fast and completed the roof replacement in one day. There were few moments where the company went beyond their duty and others were disappointing. Good one: while the crew were replacing my roof they blew the power to my house. I could not restore it by flipping breakers, but the manager was very kind to call his electricians, who came, check everything and actually just flipped the breakers that were a bit stuck. They didn't take any money for call, which I appreciated a lot. The disappointing parts: 1) the crew severely damaged my garden, which I had to completely replant after a winter storm. I had several very rare and expensive shrubs and trees that were seriously damaged. They broke a half of very young new Japanese maple tree. Before they started their work, the crew put plastic sheet over the plants, but that of course does not protect the plants from asphalt shingles been dropped from three-story high roof. The guys had a garbage container near the back of the house, but when removing shingles from the front they just dropped them onto the garden below. It was heartbreaking for me to see because I spent the whole month every day working on this garden, and having them disrespecting my work was painful to see. If I knew that there will be no protection for the garden from shingles, I would have put up a tarp above the garden stretching it between the house and the fence. 2) We had some issues with Houston city permit. They requested it two days before the scheduled job day even though we scheduled it way before that. They did the job with me thinking that the permit has been granted, however only the plans were approved, they needed to purchase the permit before starting the job, which they didn't do. And I had to call them and call the permitting center quite a few numbers of times before it was resolved. That been said, I still think the guys did a great job on the roof, and I definitely use them again with some self-preparation.”
